Day 1– Esther Fast
Date: July 13, 2025
Today was the start of my fast, not just any fast––I am Esther fast.
And let me tell you, the moment I said yes to God, the enemy came in like a flood. I felt caught between the promise of God and the familiar lies trying to drag me back.
But I chose to run.
Not away––into Him.
I cried. I confessed. I laid it all at His feet again.
He reminded me:
"You are forgiven. You are made new. Let Me strengthen you again, my daughter."
And He did.
At 4 AM, I couldn't sleep. So I scrolled. And in the quiet of that hour in the midst of the storm, I stumbled across a video. But no, not stumbled, I was led.
The message pierced me:
"God sent your husband (Jesus) to tell you to fast. Do the Esther fast. I'll be waiting for you at the altar."
And just like that... peace wrapped around me. Sleep came, and so did His comfort.
Later that morning, I went to church. Had no plan to go myself but God placed my best friend in my life to walk with me. So we got up and went. And the word? Whew. It read me. It fed me. It filled me. I felt God whisper again:
"Daughter, July 19. You will be engaged. Whether it be spiritual or physical, trust Me."
{Clarification added on 12/2025:
What I wrote here was my honest interpretation during an intense fast, not a literal prophecy or a guaranteed timeline. I’m still learning to discern God’s voice, and this moment reflected spiritual impression more than instruction. July 19 became a spiritual covenant date between me and God, not a physical engagement. I’m leaving my original words because they show my growth, but I want to be clear so no one misinterprets the heart behind them. As I continue to grow in discernment, I’ve learned to test impressions and hold them before God (1 John 4:1).}
And I do. I surrender. Not to man. Not to a date. But to the God who writes the story. My love story. Our love story.
A Correction Wrapped in Love
I watched a video that said, "Men shouldn't date while broke," And in that snip of the reel, "Women are the favor." But God spoke clearly:
"Man doesn't fin favor in woman. He receives favor from Me."
"When a man seeks Me first––My Kingdom and righteousness––I will present him with the most suitable woman." (Matthew 6:33)
(By the way this is all paraphrase so please take this back to God and He, then will correct me).
A woman is not the favor. She is the evidence of it. Not to be chased like a prize. But revealed to a man who's already walking closely with the One who sent her.
So here I am...
Standing in the gap, interceding, standing firm in faith!
I'm Fasting for Your Heart, Lord.
Not for attention.
Not to be chosen by man.
But to be aligned with You.
And I'll keep surrendering. Because I'm not chasing. I'm following. I'm submitting. And You?You're enough.
Walk with me my brothers and sisters, continue to pray for me and with me! We serve a VERY BIG GOD!!! All GlORY TO YOU LORD! THANK YOU! I WILL CONTINUE TO PRAISE YOU FIRST!
12/2025 Reflection: Learning Discernment
As I grow in my walk with God, I’m learning that spiritual impressions, emotions, hope, and longing can overlap, especially while fasting. I didn’t get everything perfect, but God honors sincerity. I’m learning to hear Him more clearly, to test what I feel, and to hold things with open hands. This blog reflects my process, not perfection. I’m grateful God is patient with me as I grow.
